About the authorStuart Orr began his writing career in Melbourne’s independent theatre scene, where his debut play, TELEFÜNKEN, opened The Malthouse Theatre Company’s Tower Theatre.
His stories explore the ways new technologies shape our understanding of eternal truths. Yet in every tale he tells, music speaks that truth.
He currently teaches Literature and Philosophy in the Macedon Ranges, where he lives with his wife and two children.
Piper at the Gates is the first book in The Children of Hamelin trilogy. The sequel, The Piper's Apprentice, will be released in 2026.
